Opening Week: CH Baseball

Description: Baseball teams from Bullard, Chapel Hill, Troup, and Whitehouse were in action as the Chapel Hill Baseball Association kicked off this week. The first game began at 6 p.m. on Monday, May 5, 2008. Games will be played on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday of each week. All games played are counted in the standings to determine who will advance to the playoffs that start in late June, early July of each year. The league is affiliated with the Texas Teenage Baseball/Softball Association, which just recently moved its state headquarters from Mineola to Brownwood, Texas. Those wishing to see some exciting little league action and get some great baseball concession food are urged to attend these games.
