Nacogdoches Class of '74 Party

Description: The Nacogdoches High School Class of 1974 held their second Memorial Day get together at the lake house of Shawn Laird Burns. A hamburger cook-off was held with the winner receiving an apron signed by all attendees. A Texas Hold-Em tournament was also held with funds raised donated to the NHS Alumni Association in honor of NHS 1974 deceased classmates including Clara Ward Flores who passed away in April of 2008. An open mic session with Shawn Burns, Merry Ann Bright, and several other guests followed. Classmates attending included Shawn Laird Burns, Merry Ann Bright, Marilou Brown Smith, Brenda Miller Gossage, Dian Clay Bentley, Jan Dobbs Barton, Suzie Gresham Peppard, Cindy Greene Hancock, Dan Peppard, Steve Jurney, John Stewart, Nick Palafox, John Folsom, Don Kendrick, Jerry Simmons and Joe Hamrick.
