Description: The 2009 Taste of Tyler was held at Harvey Convention Center on Tuesday evening, 03-17-09 and featured almost 30 area restaurants who sampled favorite dishes from their menus. There was also a silent auction for desserts prepared by the Robert E Lee Culinary students. The event was sponsored by The Pilot Club of Tyler and the ET Restaurant Association and serves as the largest fundraiser of the year for both groups to aid their community service efforts.
