Description: The Texas Prospects, a select team comprised of some of the best talent in East Texas high schools and colleges, played in an 18 U tournament at Centennary College in Shreveport, LA, beginning on Friday, June 12 at 9 AM, and continuing through Sunday, June 14. The pool opponents on Friday were Winners Circle at 9 AM and Gametime Academy 17's at 5:15 PM. Saturday's teams played were Winners Circle at 9 AM and Loyola at 11:45 AM.The Prospects are actually 3 separate teams: two 18 U teams and one 16 U team. The Red team is coached by Zach James, a former player at the University of Texas at Tyler. Jeff Casey is the program director and has 3 World Series Championships to his credit.
