Description: 07-02-09 Texas Prospects 4th of July ShowcaseThe Texas Prospects hosted a 4th of July Showcase at 4 area baseball fields: Whitehouse High School, :Pine Tree High School, Kilgore's Driller Park, and, UT Tyler's Irwin Field. The first game kicked off in Whitehouse with the Prospects Red team facing the Texas Stix at 12 Noon. Other teams featured included the Prospects Gray, Prospects Black, Centex Crush, Whitehouse High, San Antonio Wranglers, Waco Buzz, FW Cats, Texas Blackhawks, Dallas Tigers, Dallas Dragons, and the CRBA Phillies. The top four teams advanced to the Sunday championship round at Driller Park. The Texas Prospects consist of three teams; Prospects Red (coached by Zach James); Prospects Black, and, Prospects Gray.
