Description: The Arc of Tyler/Smith County hosted its special needs clients at the annual Camp Heyday on July 19 through 24 at Camp Tyler on Lake Tyler. Special needs individuals from age 10 through adult were treated to an old fashioned camp experience complete with boat rides, horseback riding, arts and crafts, fishing, hot dog suppers, and visits from motorocyclists. The camp gives the campers a great vacation experience while allowing their caregivers a few days of time off.
