Description: A motorcyclist was killed and the driver of a car was injured in an accident on Oct. 22, 2009 near Tyler. The collision occurred about 6 p.m. on Texas Highway 64 East at Spur 248, according to a report by the Department of Public Safety. David Pritchard, 48, Bullard, pulled into the path of car driven by Patricia Austin, 45, Tyler, the report said. Pritchard, who was wearing a helmet, was ejected from the motorcycle. He died at East Texas Medical Center. Ms. Austin was hospitalized with injuries suffered in the accident, the report said.
