Description: On Oct. 24, 2009, Community SEEDS held an “Upper Scale” garage sale including food, music, and face painting. The weather was a definite blessing to this inspiring event. Community SEEDS is a faith-based organization, bringing hope to the community one family at a time. SEEDS’ programs will address the multiple factors affecting low income, working poor and families that tend to remain poverty-stricken and place them at risk of becoming homeless and/or in need of crisis intervention services. It will be the aim of the SEEDS programs to increase the possibility of children and adults in the area, to live stable, secure and prosperous lives. Some of the assistance will include food bank, clothing, emergency programs, educational classes, job training classes, health care screenings, prescription programs, recycling.
