The papal palace in Avignon.
Avignon is a walled city, once inside the walled part, the roads are mazes with tall buildings on each side and you can get quite lost.
The papal palace was used by the popes of the Catholic Church in Rome during the unrestful times. A total of 9 popes used the palace over the course of 60 years.
